Ryan, Michael

Michael A. Ryan is Associate Professor of History at the University of New Mexico.  A first-generation college student, he received his B.A. with high honors from the University of Florida, where he was also invited to join Phi Beta Kappa.  He obtained his M.A. from Western Michigan University, home to the annual International Congress of Medieval Studies, and his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining the faculty of the University of New Mexico, Ryan taught at Purdue University.
